The Specialty Coffee Association of America (SCAA) wants you to know how we use the information you provide when you visit this website or any of the other websites operated by SCAA. These websites include scaa.org, scaaevent.org, scaasymposium.org, roastersguild.org, baristaguildofamerica.net, and usbaristachampionship.org. (collectively, the "Websites").


We will collect personal information about you or your company from our Websites only if you voluntarily give it to us. We will only use this information to facilitate your requests, process any transactions you might initiate, or update your membership information.


When you place an order or register for a program on-line, we use the information you provide only to ship the product or to register you for the program. We do not share this information with outside parties except (a) to the extent necessary to complete the order or registration and (b) in certain instances to provide limited contact information to select Business Partners as described below.


SCAA does not knowingly collect or maintain any personal information from children under the age of 13. In addition, no part of our Websites is designed with the purpose of attracting any person under age 13.

We use this information for the operation of our site, to maintain quality of service, and to provide general statistics regarding the use of our site. Use of Member and Registrant Lists by Business Partners


SCAA may provide lists of members' names, business types, and contact information to other SCAA members, so that members may receive information or promotional materials about products and services that may interest them. Such members must agree to use personal information in strict conformance with SCAA's instructions, and in compliance with this Policy and applicable law, including the CAN-SPAM act.


SCAA may provide permission-based lists of event registrants' names, business types, and contact information to SCAA Exhibitors and Sponsors, so that registrants may receive information or promotional materials about products and services that may interest them. Event registrants will always be given the option during the registration process to opt-out of third party emails. Event registrants must opt-out for each event they attend, if they so choose. Exhibitors and Sponsors must agree to use personal information in strict conformance with SCAA's instructions, and in compliance with this Policy and applicable law, including the CAN-SPAM act.
