DEADLINE: Applications and proposals must be submitted no later than Monday, July 2, 2007!
The USBC Committee will respond by Monday, July 16, 2007.

SCAA-Sanctioned Regional Barista Competitions
The SCAA's United States Barista Championship Committee's sole purpose is "to grow, coordinate and sanction Regional Competitions and a National Championship annually."
The winner of each SCAA-sanctioned Regional Barista Competition will automatically advance to the Semi-Finals Round at the following United States Barista Championship.
The USBC Committee has divided the country into ten regions, based on population and SCAA membership:
Northwest: AK, WA, and OR
Western: CA and HI
Southwest: NV, AZ, and NM
Mountain: ID, MT, WY, UT, and CO
South Central: TX, OK, AR, and LA
Midwest: ND, SD, NE, KS, MN, IA, and MO
Great Lakes: WI, IL, IN, MI, and OH
Northeast: NY, CT, RI, MA, ME, VT, and NH
Mid Atlantic: PA, NJ, DE, MD, and DC
Southeast: KY, TN, MS, AL, WV, VA, NC, SC, GA, and FL
