Coffee Bean International Hosts SCAA Instructor Development Program in February

On February 11th, 2012 Coffee Bean International is hosting an SCAA Instructor Development Program (IDP) at their headquarters in Portland. This will be the perfect opportunity to become a certified SCAA Lead Instructor prior to The Event and qualify to be a Station Instructor at this annual exposition or other regional courses throughout the year.

The SCAA Instructor Development Program is one of our most popular professional development programs. Coffee Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) get to be students as they learn about applied adult learning concepts in the workplace, including instructional design (based on the ADDIE model developed by the American Society for Training & Development), testing, and presentation skills. Upon completion of the one-day program, students earn the SCAA Lead Instructor Credential and are eligible to volunteer as an Instructor for SCAA. Many students also report an increase in skills pertaining to training and instructional design in their own companies after completing the IDP.
