Symposium Provides Opportunities for Dialogue for Leaders in the Specialty Coffee Industry
Symposium was born from the concept that in order to ensure a sustainable future for specialty coffee, we have to open up channels for dialogue among key players in the supply chain. This year’s Symposium will provide many avenues for engagement among delegates, including interaction between speakers and attendees during each session, comfortable conversation lounges to sit and enjoy the program in a casual, interactive environment, as well as plenty of coffee breaks and social events.
We will welcome back some of the most popular speakers from 2011 as well as many new folks from all walks of the specialty coffee industry, broadening the range of insights and offering a stronger data basis to inform our conversations.
Additionally, the Symposium program will include presenters from outside of the industry who will provide perspective and new strategic insights.
At the close of each session, there will be an opportunity for delegates to ask questions or share their own experiences on the subject.
Enjoy the Program in Comfortable, Casual Conversation Lounges with Live Stream of Symposium Sessions
We’ve taken things up a notch this year with the addition of conversation lounges to the Symposium event. Enjoy sessions from the comfort of a casual, elegant conversation lounge, which will be located just outside of the main Symposium hall. Continue your coffee break or lunchtime conversation while watching the sessions on a flat screen television from a cozy couch or arm chair.
Between sessions, we’ve built in plenty of time for networking and connecting with colleagues from the specialty coffee industry. One of the most exciting parts of Symposium each year is the expansive coffee break that includes a vast array of single-serve brewing methods, staffed by top baristas from all over the world.
This is a great opportunity to engage with the folks on the front lines of our industry, the direct touch point to the consumer. They will be happy to share their perspectives on the state and future of specialty coffee with your cup of coffee.
